Batch Import — Bulk CSV Shipping Labels

“Batch” means one checkout for many shipments: each CSV row is rated separately, then you pay for the whole set at once—ideal for marketplaces, warehouses, and daily shipping lists.

Use the template and column format below. Prefer not to upload a file? Use Bulk Paste to paste addresses instead.

Bulk discount tiers (applied automatically)

We reward volume! When you upload a CSV with multiple labels, you receive an automatic discount on our service fee based on how many valid labels are in your file (carrier postage is not discounted):

Label count Discount
5+2% off
10+5% off
25+8% off
50+10% off
75+12% off
100+15% off

Bulk discounts apply to our service fee only before checkout and appear in your order summary. Carrier postage is not discounted.

CSV format & template

Batch vs single label

The single shipment form is best for one package. This page is for 10, 50, or 100+ labels where re-entering addresses would waste time—marketplace orders, warehouses, and daily shipping lists.

  • Each CSV row keeps its own carrier, service, and addresses; you see live rates before you pay.
  • After upload you can fix errors row-by-row and drop any row on the batch payment page.
  • Same prepaid carrier labels and PDF/PNG/ZPL output as single purchases; volume discounts apply from 10+ labels.
  • Pay the batch with crypto shipping labels or card / Apple Pay on clearnet.

Marketplace sellers (eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Mercari, Poshmark)

Instant Shipping Labels is not affiliated with eBay, Facebook/Meta, Mercari, or Poshmark. Export or copy buyer ship-to addresses into our CSV template (or use bulk paste), then choose USPS, UPS, FedEx, Canada Post, or EU carriers where offered.

  • Bulk checkout — Many labels, one payment.
  • Rate choice — Carrier and service per row with real quotes before purchase.
  • International — When countries differ, use customs columns. See the international shipping guide.
  • After payment — Download labels; reprint anytime from order recovery.

France: La Poste / Colissimo

La Poste and Colissimo are the same Shippo Colissimo service. Prefer carrier code laposte when La Poste is listed above (also accepted: la poste, la_poste). colissimo is accepted as an alias for the same rates. Use from_country=FR. Recipient to_phone is required unless a platform default shipping phone is set.

For package_type, use the short keys — not the storefront labels that start with “La Poste ·”. Accepted keys: Colissimo, Colissimo XS, Colissimo S, Colissimo M, Colissimo L, Colissimo XL, ColissimoEnvelope. Or omit package_type and provide parcel_length, parcel_width, and parcel_height (custom). Chronopost is a separate carrier (chronopost), not an alias of La Poste.

Required columns

  • Sender: from_name (or from_company), from_street1, from_city, from_zip, from_country. from_state required for US/CA only.
  • Recipient: to_name (or to_company), to_street1, to_city, to_zip, to_country. to_state required for US/CA only.
  • Parcel: parcel_weight
  • Carrier: carrier (one of the codes above)

Optional columns

  • Address: from_street2, from_phone, to_street2, to_phone, to_email. See phone requirements below for UPS/FedEx.
  • Parcel: parcel_mass_unit (default lb), parcel_length, parcel_width, parcel_height for custom size; package_type (use short keys such as Colissimo XL — not “La Poste · …” display labels; see France note above)
  • Service: service_level; rate_priority (best_value, cheapest, fastest); signature_confirmation; email

Phone numbers

  • Sender (from_phone): Required for international UPS/FedEx. Recommended for all carriers.
  • Recipient (to_phone): Required for all UPS and FedEx. Also required for EU/UK Shippo posts (Evri, Correos, Colissimo, La Poste, Chronopost, DPD DE, Mondial Relay, Deutsche Post, Royal Mail) unless a platform default shipping phone is configured in settings.

International shipments — customs required

When from_country and to_country differ (e.g. US → CA), that row is international. Add the customs columns below. For item details, use the simple columns (one item per row) or the advanced option for multiple items.

  • Required: customs_contents_type (MERCHANDISE, GIFT, DOCUMENTS, …), customs_non_delivery_option (RETURN or ABANDON), customs_certify_signer. customs_contents_explanation required only when contents type is OTHER.
  • Item (simple — one item per row) Add customs_description, customs_value_amount, and customs_net_weight. Optional: customs_quantity (default 1), customs_origin_country (defaults to from_country), customs_mass_unit (oz/lb/g/kg).
  • Multiple items in one shipment: use the customs_items column with JSON (advanced). See our international guide for format.
  • Optional: customs_incoterm, customs_eel_pfc

Domestic rows (same from_country and to_country) do not need any customs columns. Only rows where sender and recipient countries differ require these fields.

Payment

After upload you're taken to the payment page (card or crypto). You can remove any rows you don't need from the order details—the total updates automatically. No payment data in the CSV.
